Boise City Arts Commission (BCAC) was established by City Ordinance in 1978 as a nonprofit city agency to advise and assist the City Council in development, coordination, promotion and support of the arts. The BCAC is a division of the Boise City Mayor’s office. BCAC’s vision is to forge bold partnerships that energize the artistic life of the city —making art, in all its variations, an integral part of our everyday experience, and a vivid expression of our diversity, our depth and our dreams. The mission of Boise City Arts Commission is to enhance the culture of the Boise community by providing leadership, advocacy and support for the arts. |

The Downtown Boise Association (DBA) is a nonprofit 501(c)6 corporation that was created by a majority of downtown business and property owners to manage the downtown Boise Business Improvement District (BID). It is managed by an elected board of 21 downtown business and property owners with 7 appointed ex-officio members that represent local government and special interests. The DBA mission is to be the steward for the operation and promotion of downtown Boise as an attractive, safe and vibrant place in which to work, shop, live and play. |

The Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau actively pursues sales in the areas of meetings and conventions, special events, sports events, group tours, culture and leisure travel. The Boise CVB acts as a liaison between consumers, meeting planners, travel agents, tour operators, event organizers and the Boise hospitality community to provide information, experiences and services necessary to encourage people to visit Boise for business and pleasure! |
